Starc calls India’s World Cup final a “Spectacle of Cricket”

The World Cup final between Australia and India on Sunday in Ahmedabad’s 130,000-seat stadium, according to Mitchell Starc, would be “loud and a spectacle of cricket”.

In a thrilling chase of 213 in Kolkata on Thursday, five-time winners Australia defeated South Africa by three wickets to advance to their eighth World Cup final.

After bowling South Africa out for 212 with statistics of 3-34, Starc told reporters, “It’s a big occasion, it’s a World Cup final.”
