Shah Rukh amazes with high-octane fight scenes in the leaked Pathaan trailer
The anticipation around Shah Rukh Khan’s announcement of the trailer for his upcoming action-thriller flick Pathaan on Deepika Padukone’s birthday, January 5, has reached a new level, as countdowns, posters, and numerous videos on the subject have taken over the internet. Even though there are only a few days left until the film’s premiere, the trailer has not been released, increasing fan anticipation each day. While an official notification from the filmmakers regarding the release of the trailer is still expected, a video on Twitter purporting to be Pathaan’s trailer is currently available.
The film directed by Siddharth Anand and starring Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, and Deepika Padukone will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on January 25, 2023. Meanwhile, the CBFC examination committee has recently assessed Pathaan for certification. The chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification, Prasoon Joshi, stated that the filmmakers were ordered to make “changes” to the film, including its songs. However, he did not specify the modifications he advised to the creators.
After the December 12 release of the film’s song “Besharam Rang,” which also featured Deepika, the film encountered controversy and calls for a ban. A scene in the song depicting the actress in a saffron bikini allegedly offended “Hindu sensibilities” and sparked demonstrations across India.
In the action-thriller Pathaan, Shah Rukh plays a gun-toting spy with a license to murder. Pathaan, a visually stunning action spectacle from Yash Raj Films, is a part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy world. The film also includes a cameo appearance by Salman Khan.
