Akshay Kumar shares first glimpse from his upcoming “Chhatrapati Shivaji”

The creators of the upcoming movie Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat recently unveiled Akshay Kumar’s first look. For the movie, the Bollywood superstar will be seen dressing as Chhatrapati Shivaji. The film’s creators tweeted a still and a video of Akshay from the movie in addition to announcing it. The actor received harsh criticism on social media as soon as the first image was revealed. He received criticism for not doing enough study before the shoot.

A chandelier may be seen in the shot of Akshay acting as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Here’s the catch, though. The rim of the chandelier is covered in light bulbs. The joke is being made since Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who ruled from 1630 to 1680, lived long after the invention of the bulb.

The Vaseem Qureshi-produced film is more than simply a tale or a show of force; it is also the triumphant tale of the Hindavi Swarajya and the tale of an extraordinary act of selflessness. Jay Dudhane, Utkarsha Shinde, Vishal Nikam, Virat Madke, Hardik Joshi, Satya, Akshay, Nawab Khan, and Praveen Tarde make up the cast of the movie.

The Mahesh Manjrekar-directed film, a Qureshi Production, is scheduled to open in theatres in Marathi, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on Diwali 2023.
